Sample The Powell Method by attending one of the workshops in the Powell Method Workshop Series taught by Founder, Katti Powell.  Workshops for Singers consists of 5 workshops appropriate for anyone interested in contemporary singing.  Workshops for Teachers consists of 4 workshops appropriate for voice teachers, music teachers, or singers considering a career in teaching.

HOST A WORKSHOP SERIES

Have Founder, Katti Powell present the Powell Method Workshop Series for just the cost of travel & lodging.  PLUS receive a portion of workshop fee profits and discounts on other Powell Method products & courses!  Workshops for Singers and Workshops for Teachers will be offered to all hosting organizations.  Each workshop in Workshops for Singers will be available to the public for $20 per person.  Each workshop in Workshops for Teachers will be free to music teachers or $20 per person for the public.  Each workshop in the series is 60 minutes in length and a piano or keyboard is needed in the room.  Minimum class size must be met in Workshops for Singers for hosting organization to receive a portion of workshop profits.  Minimum class size is 10, maximum class size is 30.  Hosting organizations will be provided with marketing materials to advertise the Powell Method Workshop Series at their location.  It is recommended that workshops be offered over the course of 2-3 days and since Founder, Katti Powell will be teaching all of them, it is possible for participants to attend every workshop in the series.  Powell Method Practice CDs will be available to purchase at the workshops plus discounts on Virtual Voice Lessons & the Instructor Certification Program will be made available to registrants and hosts.  View Brochure

BELTING 101 - Discover the difference between belting and singing in the chest resonance, learn how to belt, discuss appropriate genres with belting, and basic vocal health.

MIX 101 - Learn what mix is and isn't, discover the differences between belt and mix as well as legit and mix, explore why a legit foundation is vital to a great mix, learn how and when to mix.

POLISHING BELT & MIX - Learn the differences between belt/mix/legit, learn song mapping, disguise the mix to sound like the belt, round out the contemporary voice with tricks & tips for a great sound.

CLASSICAL TO CONTEMPORARY - Classically trained singers will learn some simple steps to make the classical voice sound contemporary.

TONY TO GRAMMY - Learn some simple tricks to give the musical theatre voice more of a pop/R&B sound.
